As a producer of heat shrink tubing the history of ECS Cable Protection Sp. z o.o. started in 1999 when Crosstronic B.V. was founded in the Netherlands. Starting 2005 manufacturing, quality and logistics was transferred to Poland, what enabled the company to further develop the product range and volumes.
Since January 1st 2009 ECS Cable Protection belongs to ITW (Illinois Tool Works Inc.) and operates as a unit of the Italian ITW division Elematic Cabling Systems.

Elematic Cabling Systems (part of ITW since 1998) is one of the worldwide top producers of polyamide cable ties. Intensified in 2006 they offer to the electrical installers, through a network of European partners and distributors, a complete and competitive range of cable ties, cable connectors, cable protection and cabling tools, fixing systems and hand tools.
This integration in a multinational reality allowed ECS Cable Protection to take advantage from the synergy in terms of products and markets, as well as know-how to improve our production process and efficiency. Our objectives are:
- Further develop ECS Cable Protection as a unique manufacturer and supplier of private label cable protection (and complementary) products,
- Further strengthen the cable protection part of the Elematic Cabling Systems catalogue.
